About Dr. Worry and WorryCars

WorryCars is an independent automotive publication for car buyers and owners in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam as its practical home base. The site focuses on the details that change a real ownership decision: price, service support, charging access, recall status, parts availability, insurance, resale, road conditions, heat and monsoon use.

Who is Dr. Worry?

WorryCars is written and edited by Dr. Worry, an automotive researcher and hands-on buyer advocate based in Vietnam. He follows vehicles and ownership conditions across Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia. The name reflects the editorial promise: I worry about the expensive, inconvenient and easily overlooked details so readers do not have to discover them after buying.

“Dr. Worry” is an editorial identity, not a medical or academic title. Automotive articles on this site are buyer guidance, not engineering certification, legal advice or a substitute for a qualified vehicle inspection.

How WorryCars works

Reviews, news and corrections

News-based buyer checks combine verified reporting with original analysis. A page is not described as a road test unless the vehicle was actually driven or inspected. When an article is materially corrected or expanded, its modified date is updated. Readers can report an error or provide documented local ownership information by email.

Independence

WorryCars aims to separate editorial judgment from manufacturer marketing. Receiving press information or using official media does not guarantee a positive recommendation. Any future sponsorship, affiliate relationship or supplied test vehicle should be disclosed on the relevant page.
